The International - Ruby on Rails Development
Company: The International.
Location: London, United Kingdom.
Description: The International is the world's only professional peace journalism newspaper. Using high journalistic standards, they frame news stories in a way that fosters conflict resolution. They help their readers to better understand the causes of conflict, the interests of parties involved, as well as the cultural differences between countries.
Our role: Starting with a major face lift up which included a 100% new web design and a project mop up, we're now the technological team behind The International, in charge of the fully technological life-cycle, from coding to deploy and design tweaks. We're constantly working to bring the best functionality both on the front end and it's extensive back end, which allows managing articles, categories, editing images (resizing, cropping), customizing stocks bar, etc.
Indieoma - Ruby on Rails Development
Company: V Street Media.
Location: Providence, USA.
Description: In the broadest sense, the Indieoma community lives to provide safe harbor for people that like to do their own thinking. Specifically, it aims to provide a great media experience populated with artists – music, film and design – from outside the mainstream. Stay tuned with Indieoma as it's constantly evolving!
Our role: Rapidly went from a little consultancy intervention and mopping up the project to be the technological leaders for Indieoma expanding and building exciting new features to provide a better user experience.
Technical highlights: Fully enabled AJAX experience through all the site navigation, being able to keep your video/audio play-list selection playing all along while you share you comments with the community, upload your own videos and music.
MyWebPost - Ruby on Rails Development
Company: Skylight Consulting.
Location: New York, USA.
Description: With mywebpost you don’t have to visit every interesting site to see if they have something related to the topic you are reading. We bring what you like to you. We will notify you whenever they have something to say about an article you are reading. Washington Post featured partner.
Our role: Fine tunning the project to get it into production stage. Continuously adding new features.
Technical highlights: Manages tons of data, fetching post from hundreds of rss feeds, categorizing the information and making it available while you surf through IE and Firefox plug-ins.

CCU - Financial - Ruby on Rails Development

Location: Montevideo, Uruguay.
Description: Intranet financial system for one of the mainly construction industries association in Uruguay.
